Points per game
This league scores IFPA 7/5/3/1, the IFPA standard. Four players: 7/5/3/1. Three players: 7/4/1. Two players: 7/1. Players who tie on a game share the points for the places they tied for, split evenly.
Season total
Your season total drops your lowest 1 week, including absences as zero. Drops begin after the league has completed 4 nights.
Every night the league has held is a week, so a night before a player joined counts as an absence and can be the week that drops. A player always keeps at least one counted week. When weeks tie for the lowest, the earlier week is the one dropped.
Missing a night
Missing a night adds no points. An absence is not stored as a played night worth zero, so it never counts toward the nights you played.
Ties
Ties compare season points after drops, then points before drops, then game finishes, starting with the most first places.
Players still tied share a rank. Alphabetical order does not break a tie.
All scoring rules
Divisions
Divisions begin after 1 completed night. The standings split into 4 divisions: A - Division takes the top 16, B - Division takes the next 16, C - Division takes the next 16, and D - Division is everyone else. League-night groups stay mixed across divisions before meet 5. Groups are drawn inside divisions from meet 5. An absent player's seat stays empty on the night, and nobody moves up into it.
Night-high bonus
There is no night-high bonus.
Disqualified games
A disqualified game scores 0. Other players keep their places on the original group points table.
A disqualification is recorded on one game, not on the player. Leaving a night is not a disqualification.
A forfeit is different: a player who misses a game scores 0 for it, and the other players in that group are scored on the points table for one fewer player. In a four-player group the other three score 7/4/1 in finishing order, and in a three-player group the other two score 7/1. Forfeit scoring is a league rule set by your director.
